Wegman's Employee Softball Leagues 2010 Managed by Unity Health System Total Sports Experience
League includes: · T-shirts · 2 Weeks of practice starting May 24th · 8 Weeks of League Play starting June 7th · Playoffs- Week 9 – Top 4 teams
Location: Wegmans Softball Fields, 100 Wegmans Market Street, Rochester, NY 14624 (Access fields through Market Street, former entrance is closed)
Divisions: League play will be offered in the following divisions, Min. of 8 teams required. Men’s League · Tuesday Men’s Competitive · Tuesday Men’s Recreational *Game times 5:30 & 7:00. Based on league size, games may also be scheduled on Monday’s.
Coed League · Wednesday Coed Competitive · Wednesday Coed Recreational *Game times 5:30 & 7:00. Based on league size, games may also be scheduled on Monday’s.
Cost: The team fee is $240.00 per team. The full team payment is due prior to your week two game.
Rosters: Rosters are comprised of a maximum of 20 players. All players must meet the following criteria: · They have worked for Wegmans Food Markets for two consecutive weeks · They are active employees working on a regular basis · They have no written warning on file Participant eligibility will be verified on each night of play.
Registration: · Registration deadline is Friday, May 14th at 5:00PM. · A $100.00 deposit and a completed registration form (click here to download) are required for registration. · Payment/Registration Due to Unity Health System Total Sports Experience – At facility or mail, 880 Elmgrove Rd, by phone 585-458-4263, or fax 585-458-2996
Mandatory Captain’s Meeting A mandatory meeting for all team captains will be held on Wednesday, May 19th at 6:00pm at TSE. Managers should bring completed rosters (signed by all individuals with employee numbers) to this meeting.
Rules & Schedules: Information, including league rules, practice dates and times, and roster forms will be distributed to teams at a later date.
Coach/Manager Role: The Coach/Manager is responsible for his/her team. This includes all league payments and ensuring players follow all league rules and policies.
