Academy Head Coach, Mike Dwaileebe
Coach Dwaileebe has an extensive background in baseball. He
grew up locally, playing high school baseball at Spencerport
and went on to play, at the collegiate level, at Division
III Clarkson University. He has coached locally for over 28
years at almost every age level of amateur baseball, from
T-ball through Babe Ruth. He was an assistant coach for the
Genesee Valley Riverbats in 2005, a member of the New York
State Collegiate Baseball League, a summer wood bat league
for college players.
Mike is currently in his 3rd year as assistant baseball
coach at Northstar Christian Academy. He also is an
instructor with former Rochester Red Wing player, John
Valle, working with John Valle Baseball for over 5 years, at
all age levels, specifically high school and college age
players. Mike also runs many clinics and academies,
including the Microbaseball Program, at Total Sports
Experience.
Mike has a passion for teaching the game of baseball, using
positive reinforcement techniques-encouraging and
challenging players to develop skills suited to their
abilities and potential. He stresses character-building
through his clinics, developing the well-rounded athlete,
not just the skilled athlete.
